How are Star Valley products shipped?

It depends on the product and size of the order. We use non refrigerated trucks for less than truckload LTL shipments of branches and refrigerated trucks for half or full semi-trailer loads of fresh cut flowers. We ship on Southwest Air Collect once a week in season. It’s a three to five-hour drive from our farm gate to Minnesota or Chicago airports. Within our immediate Midwest region, we rely on the great service and affordable rates of SpeeDee Delivery. FedEx Ground and Express are also available from the farm daily.

To whom do you sell?

We sell to anyone with a reseller’s license. That includes floral wholesalers, retail grocers, garden centers, retail floral/ floral designers, landscapers, and event planners, nationwide. 

Do you sell any rooted plant material?

We do not.

Can we visit your operation?

We are not open to the public as a general rule. Many things are happening here making us much too busy for a steady stream of visitors. However, we welcome organized group tours such as garden clubs, school groups or industry related parties. If you are planning on being in the area and would like a tour PLEASE feel free to call and we will do our best to make Star Valley open for your visit. Monday to Wednesday are definitely out but the other 4 days of the week are usually a possibility with advance notice.
