Hydrangeas-PG

These standard PG’s differ from the “Limelight” PG selection in growing season color and stem characteristics. They both have green flower heads dusted with rose when fully mature and in a “dryable” state. The PG stems arch over with the flowers pointing down or out, whereas the Limelights are fully upright. We do not cut these flowers in the immature white stage but wait until the rich pinks develop in mid September. We cut these flowers until frost so Mother Nature dictates supply. We also offer in mid to late September fully mature “mini PG’s” that have short stems (6-10″) and dry nicely, have good color, require no water and are economical to ship.
