Available after November 6th. Our Big Red Bud Willow is simply our Giant Pussywillow before the catkins emerge. Once these willow branches lose their leaves we cut the stems to showcase the bright, almost metallic, burgundy hulls that cover the catkins. These plants need about 6 weeks of dormancy before we are able to force them open to their bountiful spring form, but they have so much interesting texture at this stage we market them in autumn under a different name for seasonal decorating.
