Hydrangeas-Tardiva

Unique flowers to say the least. We cut these in a fully mature and “dryable” state. Each large female florets are surrounded by spent male florets. These are called Lace Cap PG’s or simply Tardiva Hydrangeas. We grow several varieties where some are bright pink when mature and others stay a soft green. There is always some sun scorching or antiquing on these blossoms and that only adds to their appeal.
